Jack Daniel’s Single BarrelSingleBarrel_400x800[1]_0_0

Hand selected single barrel by Perry’s Liquor

We hold ourselves to the highest standard when crafting and selecting Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel. In fact, just one out of every 100 barrels are set aside to mature in the highest reaches of our barrelhouses, where dramatic temperature changes cause the color and taste to deepen further. Each barrel is hand-selected for its one-of-a-kind flavor, robust taste, and notes of toasted oak, vanilla, and caramel. It’s not easy making a whiskey like Single Barrel. But easy never interested us in the first place.

A reference standard for decades, the Absolut brand traces its history back to 1879 when Lars Olsson Smith introduced fractional distillation, a technique that produces liquor without fusel alcohol (considered a less desirable form of alcohol for some spirits). His product, named Absolutely Pure Vodka, challenged the Stockholm liquor marketing monopoly of the time and earned Smith a fortune. Today Absolut is one of the best known and most highly regarded brands in the entire world of spirits. A wheatbased vodka, it is still prized for its pure character and flawless finish, which have made it a popular choice for vodka martinis, but it drinks equally well with lime and tonic. Our special price on the 1.75 liter makes this a great selection for your next gathering or whenever it’s time to restock the bar.

Arguably the world’s sweetest, most flavorful fruit, the remarkable Cavaillon melon grown in the Provence region of France has a rich and intriguing history. With a flavor as precious as its limited harvest, this melon has been a luxury delicacy throughout history. The highest nobility were said to have relished and consumed the Cavaillon melon with fervor. Legend has it kings traded gold for exclusive access to this treasured fruit. Other historical figures, including Paul Cezanne and Alexander Dumas, also cherished the Cavaillon melon. Impressionist painter Cezanne featured the beautiful melon in a still life work, and writer Dumas traded his entire life’s writing in exchange for a life annuity of twelve Cavaillon melons a year.

It was this heralded history that first attracted Thibault to this treasured fruit. “When crafting an exceptional spirit, the quality of the ingredients is paramount to the taste,” said Thibault. “This is why I selected the Cavaillon melon. It’s fresh, succulent and truly fragrant. But the melon in Cavaillon is much more than that – it is history, it is passion. It is exactly what I was looking for.”

Exceptional climate and abundant sunshine make Cavaillon the perfect environment to cultivate what has become known locally as “the golden fruit.” Similar to the French winter wheat used to make GREY GOOSE vodka, generations of family-owned farmers have passionately cared for this fruit, as well.
